Hadley Gamble
Chief International Anchor, IMI
Hadley Gamble is IMI’s Chief International Anchor, delivering original content and exclusive interviews across The National, Sky News Arabia, CNN Business Arabic, and Al-Ain News. Over more than two decades, her interviews with world leaders have made international headlines; her tough questions have moved markets and even precipitated the takeover of major financial institutions. She has reported on defining moments for the Middle East and beyond, including Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the Arab uprising, and the Beirut explosion.
Hadley was the last Western journalist to interview Russian President Vladimir Putin and the first international reporter to speak with a Ukrainian government minister just hours after Russian troops crossed the border. She has covered the conflict from Brussels to Kyiv to Moscow, including a high-profile confrontation with Russia’s foreign minister over the bombing of Ukrainian maternity wards and hospitals.
Hadley is also a columnist for Semafor and a regular contributor to LBC Radio, GB News, Times Radio, and the Daily Mail. Her interview with Credit Suisse Chairman Axel Lehmann in 2023 moved markets and precipitated the bank’s sale to UBS. She has spent more than a decade covering energy, reporting live from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan, and the UAE, and interviewing OPEC’s Secretary General.
